BUCKHORN on Caribou offers three beautiful hand-crafted, four bedroom log lodges, and a unique group of four chalet-like cottages, nestled among the tall pines along the shore of crystal clear Caribou Lake.

Originally an early hunting and fishing camp, it has become a secluded hideaway for vacationers seeking privacy, relaxation and a fun family get-away. The well-spaced cottages along 1,000 feet of Caribou's shoreline assure this luxury. Our 4 bedroom Log Lodges are Perfect for family reunions or retreats!

Our guests have the availability of quiet walks on our nature trails, mushroom and berry picking, or swimming, canoeing and fishing for trout and bass on the exceptionally clear waters of Caribou Lake. There is a recreation room for the kids.

The lakes provide opportunity for quality togetherness in either boat, canoe, or the refreshing aftermath of a good Finnish sauna. Many guests take advantage of the variety of fishing provided by the many lakes within a few miles of BUCKHORN.

During our winter season, we are near hundreds of miles of cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails in and near Marcell, or if ice fishing is your interest, there are 1,000 lakes just in Itasca County alone to choose from.
