Buckhorn is easy to reach from Grand Rapids.
Drive north 23 miles on highway 38, north of highway 19, past Johnson Lake and Suomi Hills, and past Caribou Lake, turn right (east) on county road 49 (Smith Lake Road) for 0.7 mile. Turn right at the Buckhorn sign (as seen on our Features page) down the driveway for another 0.7 mile. The driveway will fork, stay to the left to find the lodge and check-in. for room availability & to make a reservation! |
